DirectSave

Now users can save directly to their Web Locker without first having to save the file on a local drive. School Web Lockers now offers WebDAV: an internet technology that allows people to connect their home and office computers to web based file and data storage. This new feature also gives users the ability to drag and drop entire folders to and from their Web Locker.

Offered as an add on service to the already popular online storage and collaboration system, teachers are given 500MB of file transfer each month via DirectSave and students are given 250MB of file transfer each month via DirectSave. Users will still be able to use the web interface to upload unlimited files. The cost for this add-on is only $.25 per user per year.

DirectSave is iPad compatible with Pages, Numbers, Keynote and Office HD.
